After Supper on the Living Sky Floor

After supper at Horizons, the floor at Living Sky Casino is under the same roof. This page sorts out what is there and when each part of it starts.

Planned by the Prairie Table teamChecked October 14, 2026

196 Machines, Five Denominations

Living Sky Casino keeps 196 slot machines on its gaming floor. They come in five denominations: $.01, $.02, $.05, $.25 and $1. Settle on a denomination and a spending limit for the night before you sit down, not after.

Seven days a week, the floor is open from 10 AM to 2 AM, which leaves the rest of the evening free after supper. The casino does not publish holiday hours, so phone 306-778-5759 ahead of your trip.

Nine Tables and a Poker Start

Living Sky Casino runs 9 live table games. From Sunday to Thursday they go from 5 PM to 1:30 AM, and on Friday and Saturday from 5 PM to 2 AM. Poker begins at 6 PM. Its closing hour is not published.

The casino does not list which table games it offers, or their minimum bets, so the team cannot give them here. Ask on the floor when you arrive, before you buy in.

The Circuit, Next to the Lounge

Living Sky Casino groups its electronic table games in an area called The Circuit. It sits beside the Livin' Up Lounge, a lounge next to the gaming floor where live entertainment plays. To see who is on stage, the entertainment page at livingskycasino.ca lists the current shows. Every event is 19+, and so is entry to the casino itself. Show tickets are sold at the box office inside Guest Services, open 10 AM to midnight every day.

Who Operates the Casino

The Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority, known as SIGA, runs Living Sky Casino. It is one of SIGA's seven casinos in the province, and SIGA lists it with Nekaneet First Nation. SIGA was set up in 1995 as a First Nations non-profit. It puts all of its net proceeds back into Saskatchewan.

The casino first opened its doors in December 2008, beside the Trans-Canada Highway, for the south-west of the province. The building has about 60,000 square feet and 122 staff. The name Living Sky refers to the northern lights and the stars, as the casino explains it. It also points to their link with earlier generations of First Nations ancestors.
